Grew up in free-spirited kampong in Choa Chu Kang, I was always fascinated with big houses and imagine the potentials . After my 1st degree, I worked with renown property developers for 15yrs and to further understand the intricacy of real-estate business I gotten Master of Science in Real Estate in 2010.
Applying delayed-gratification, I borrowed from my father + my savings in year 2003 and put down deposit for a 506sf 1br in The Strata, a Freehold residence in District 11. I held it for 7mths before it obtained T.O.P. & achieved astounding 9% ROI and 9times my original equity.
Accumulated more equity + experience, I analysed the market and bought a bigger 2br 829sf apartment in
Sanctuary Green, 99yr leasehold in District 15. After a good run of 5year with 117% ROI and 12times of my initial equity, I exited this investment and went into a higher yielding
RiverGate,
a Freehold property in District 9
which is meant for own-stay. The timing of exit for Sanctuary Green couldn't be more perfect as it grew only 10% in value in the next 10year.
Other than Rivergate for own-stay, I ploughed back the gain in equity and invested in new launches in District 05, 07 and 09 which have since grown between 7.45% and 20%.
Noticed my flair in real-estate investments, friends and relatives started seeking my advise & become happy investors and referred more friends!
